Why not dispute the context, rather than all the name calling.

The context is that he wants the European arms industry to gear up production. He headed French tech firms and now that he's at the EU, he's been campaigning against US (and other non-EU) tech firms. He also wrote several science fiction novels. I'm not sure it that's a plus or a minus.
