Donald Trump made history Saturday as he prepares to romp in Monday’s long-awaited Iowa Caucus.
The final Iowa Caucus poll by the Des Moines Register shows Donald Trump at 48 percent, a whopping 28 percent higher that the nearest challenger.
His lead represents the most lopsided advantage in the final pre-caucus poll in the history of the Register‘s iconic projection.
The poll suggests Trump will make further history Monday. The current record for the biggest margin of victory by a Republican in the caucuses is Bob Dole’s 12-point win over Pat Robertson in 1988.
“Our grassroots supporters have put us in position to win, and now we have to show up to Caucus for President Trump on Monday and get the job done,” Trump said in a statement. “We have to show up.”
Nikki Haley has a slight lead over Ron DeSantis, at 20 and 16 percent, respectively. The two have continued to battle for second place, although neither has half of Trump’s support in the respected Register poll.

It is interesting that the Dems can’t stop this.
As Trump becomes the clear favorite, states will be clamoring to get him back on the ballot.
I can only think of “The Manchurian Candidate” (the real movie, with Frank Sinatra, not the fake).
Of course, the moment Trump is gone (God forbid), Queen Hillary will emerge like Mothra from a bad Japanese sci-fi.
Trump needs to stress at every event that his supporters need to turn out in record numbers for the general election. This is the only way to overcome the fraud that is coming. The dems will not just lie down for this election. They perfected national election fraud in the last election, they will double their efforts in this one. Only massive numbers for Trump will overcome that.
I hope this poll is true.

Just his hardcore fans showing up won’t be enough, they’ll have to convince those outside the Trump base, both GOP and Independents, to vote Trump.
Even in the polling here, Trump is just the plurality vote getter, not the majority vote getter - and he’s the former POTUS.
Watch for Lurleen Wallace to pop out in front of the convention in Chicago, except she'll be a bit... different.
