If I could close the door between the kitchen and the garage, I’d have all of them who would to be out there. But that’s where the litter box is for Ginger and Peaches, so it has to stay open, even though it’s darn chilly with it open right now, and I can’t trust Shadow overnight. He’s not housebroken at all. I’ll be watching them closely and making sure they have un-frozen water. They do have warm spots if they’ll only use them. That’s the best I can do.
I know it’s hard to be housebound when you’re used to being out and about, but it’s smart not to trust the road during icy conditions. I hope that the folks at the museum will re-schedule the two groups so they can be there at another time.
It doesn’t take much to house-break a cat. If there’s a litter box, he’ll use it. It’s pretty uncommon for a cat to not use one. Even little kittens will use a box once they’re able to get into one. It’s just a natural thing for them.
Much easier than a dog.
Your biggest problem is Ginger and fights that could ensue.
Yeah, it’s going to be rough being stuck for so many days. I might go out and drive around tomorrow afternoon, just to be somewhere other than here. LOL
We’ll see what happens as far as the groups who are scheduled for the museum next weekend. Maybe the snow won’t hit this area.
