Russia continues to import large volumes of Western technology critical to its war against Ukraine, even as sanctions show some signs of taking hold, new analysis shows.
Western-origin technologies accounted for almost half of all Russian imports of critical components and “high-priority” battlefield goods in the first three-quarters of 2023, according to KSE Institute. Included among the producers were various U.S. tech majors, with some of their trade values increasing versus 2022 levels.
China, Hong Kong, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates have been increasingly important in funneling critical components to Russia, according to new research, as supply chains have adapted in response to export controls aimed at choking off Moscow’s military machine.

Gosh, Jonny, what happened to the Ruzzia that is totally self-sufficient and doesn’t need the West? You just admitted that they can’t produce war materiel on their own and you admitted that sanctions are hurting them. Or else there’d be no need to circumvent them.
Ruzzia is a loser. They’re desperate. And they can’t supply their own war machine.
And you just admitted all of this.

The purpose of war is to make money.
More money can be made by selling to both sides.

Have to read a few paragraphs into the story to find out that not even the Western liars are willing to make these claims about Russia having to rely on ‘foreign hardware’.
