Biden stole the 2020 election. No doubt about it (see my tagline).
But I think Fetterman won legitimately in 2022. His opponent, Dr Oz, was a terrible candidate who ran a terrible campaign. On the other hand, Fetterman’s team did excellent work.
I know quite a few blue dog Democrats in Pennsylvania who voted for Trump in 2020 and then for Fetterman in 2022.

At this point I would consider him an old school pro-choice conservative.

I tried to tell people back in 2022, that they were being fed a complete line of BS about Fetterman from the national GOP establishment. The attempt to brand him as some lug know nothing with no political support or background, or a weak crowned by the party all hat no cattle democrat was just absolute nonsense to anyone who has actually seen the man.
Yes, he is a democrat, and he is liberal, but he is NOT a whackadoo left wing nutter, and no I don’t agree with the man’s politic’s, but anyone who tells you he is just a lug is an idiot.
Long before the national press knew who he was, I witnessed him in action. The man is a presence, he enters a room and the crowd knows it and responds to him.
The fact he had a stroke is the only reason he didn’t trounce the turd OZ by double digits handily...
This guy, if he is truly regained his ability to communicate which it seems he has, then there is little doubt, like it or not, he’s going to be around for a while.
And let me say this now... So far the field for the Senate for the GOP for PA in 2024 is basically McCormick, who isn’t as big of a turd as OZ, but still an establishment/globalist/hack... There is the possibility that Biden (assuming he actually is the candidate in November) is so bad and hated, that Trumps coattails could drag him into the Senate... but even that is SLIM.
I would love to see a better candidate appear, but odds are, the GOPe of PA is not going to let anyone else be the nominee, no one else has announced yet, but even if they do, its unlikely they would be allowed to beat McCormick.
So get ready for another loss for PA Senate, almost certainly this fall.
That was my thought as well. She also left town for weeks when it looked like he might be on his last legs. I’ll bet home life is like the inside of a fridge!
