Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) said Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that the Confederate President Jefferson Davis “had some class” because he didn’t attempt to run for office again unlike former President Donald Trump.
Partial transcript as follows:
WHOOPI GOLDBERG: I mean, you’ve seen what the lengths that the people have gone through to make sure his feet don’t touch the ground. Do you think that letting him get away with being an insurrectionist is the right way for us to let the country know how we — what are going to do it next time we get another one?
CHRISTIE: I think they should try him and convict him in Washington, D.C. and send him to jail for it. And I think that’s the way to do it.

Yeah, great Chris coming from Livingston New Jersey. The headquarters of all the mobsters from Newark. And this guys talking about class. Class also starts with a BMI below 25. The guys still pissed off because Trump didn’t pick him as vice president. Revengeful Sicilian side of his character.
The quicker this slob drops dead of a heart attack, the better off the country will be.
I don’t think anyone was actually tried for insurrection. They were prevented from running for office by political pressure. or by force of a gun as the carpetbaggers took over.
and the south didn’t want to overthrow the DC government. the governments of the south issued legal ordinances of secession, not insurrection.
Hey Chrissy, the people of the United States of America didn’t elect Jeff Davis, only the states that had seceded from the Union chose him to lead the Confederate States. Davis had a more prestigious career than you have Chrissy. His grandfather fought in the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War. He graduated from West Point, served in the U.S. Army, and fought in the Mexican-American War. He was briefly a Congressional Representative, Secretary of War under President Pierce, and U.S. Senator from Mississippi.
How many cheeseburgers did that fat slob get for that one?
Same thing that is wrong with every establishment politician…
They think they better than you pathetic commoners…
If you aren’t the “right kind” of person you are scum…
Honestly I think Cristie is playing the role of a jilted lover
well... he Does carry some weight but not so sure that’s a good thing.
Talk about a woman scorned. Trump was smart not to let this pig near his administration.
Epitome of Double Wide. He is a disgrace on many levels. First for the bromance with Obama and the lack of control on eating. His approval rating was 9% when he left office.
He did it out of spite cause the Dem mayor of the town didnt want to endorse him for re-election how many ambulances were not able to get through because of his actions
Actually, to many of the Stupid People who vote Democrat, this will make perfect sense.
The ballots won't care, of course - they'll vote the way they're marked in the Democrat ballot factories.
I was only joking about him going on The View after he weas a has been and Trump got the nomination.
It came true!
I hate him more than ever but it does no good. I need allies.
Like Michael Lonsdale....

Lonsdale was also great in the Steven Spielberg movie Munich (about Israeli revenge squad after their athletes were murdered by Muslims at the 1972 Olympics)
Great line about his secret group working with the Israelis:
“We don’t like governments. We work without them.”
Christie caption:
“So I says to him if I eat the witness who’s gonna testify against me?”
Photo caption:
“Well, what am I supposed to do? You won’t answer my calls, you change your number. I mean, I’m not gonna be ignored, Don.”
Unlike Trump, he also wore a dress. Which may explain Christie’s affection.
Jeff Davis was disallowed from holding any office post War. He’d even lost the right to vote. While blacks were allowed to vote. If there is to ever be any further monument destruction, let it be Jeff Davis (and Alexander Stephens), but that’s as far as I’ll go.
Jeff Davis was a great American.
