After initially bowing out, John Curtis enters race for U.S. Senate (Mitt Romney II)

big political name has made a late entrance into the race to replace Mitt Romney in the U.S. Senate.

Rep. John Curtis, a Republican who currently represents Utah’s third congressional district, announced Tuesday he is jumping into the race that already has a crowded field of Republican candidates.

This announcement comes after Curtis had unequivocally said he would not run for Senate, arguing instead that he had work left to do in the U.S. House of Representatives.

They're trying to prevent a REAL Republican from getting the nomination - because whatever Republican gets nominated, will be Senator.

There are legit and capable conservatives in this race. And the precincts have the lowest regard for Mitt.

Conservative Review Liberty score 72%.

Romney's is 52%. He would still be a significant 20 point shift to the right over Romney.

Lee is 94%, though.
