She’s too high profile but I worked from 1969-2017 at two universities and saw a number of recycled presidents come and go. One was a woman who was a spitefully angry alcoholic. Another couple resigned under serious legal allegations.
Little known secret outside academia: If one university or college can barely stand to have their leader stay they give them a glowing sendoff to another one that welcomes the new leader until that one moves on to give problems to the next place. Goes on and on.
I’d like a shot at that Harvard Pres. job. I don’t know much about plagiarism but I bet I could learn to do it as good as she did. And I wouldn’t give any antisemitism testimony. My lips are sealed. White males are probably in the minority at that woke University so I should get some of that Affirmative Action points in my favor.
Lawyer offices tend to do that too. As do churches with problem ministers.
