Pretty soon, CA will have only the corrupt and the illegal. After the “Big One”, we can repopulate.

can’t you just have an aisle or 2 labeled “Toys”
pretty much all toys are gender neutral, it is generally parents who decide what toys are approproate for their children at least until they are old enough to watch tv

Because adults with common sense know what a girls shirt is, Brittany.
And also, shirts aren’t toys, Brittany.

I’m sorry, but I think I’d withdraw from California rather than comply.
Just have a toy aisle, not specified beyond that.

I wish that were it. But it's worse. These fruitcakes are totalitarian fascists who want to divide, make everyone dependent, and control every aspect of your life. They do harm intentionally

Now Ca owns all the stores. There needs to be a line drawn before this same insanity spreads everywhere.

I walked through Wal Mart yesterday. This looks like a lot of regulatory noise compared to the reality of the situation. The toys weren't segregated by anything resembling gender... unless Mattel's display of Barbie was against the law now.
Only those who $ee an opportunity to be offended by a corporation with deep pockets will be heard from.

Label them all as *gender neutral*.
The left has done more to reinforce gender stereotypes with their constant focus on gender than anything traditional conservatives have ever done.
When I was raising my kids, they got gender appropriate toys but also some stuff that wasn’t and they were free to play with whatever they wanted. We never pushed the *that’s an girl’s/boy’s toy, you can’t play with it* line.
Sheeesh, the left acts like it has a corner on the gender market.

After they get away with this, they will move on to the next target. What will it be? Will there be “gender neutral” bras and jockstraps? Will they rename “maternity ward” to “birth parent ward”?
Their attempt to suppress a obvious biological FACT proves they are insane.

Government overreach inspired by some spoiled, demanding 8-year-old who has probably never been told “no.” This is what passes for “leadership” these days.
What a stupid, costly law.

My cousin and her husband had three girls. Being good little liberals they bought them girls toys and also some toy trucks.
The trucks gathered dust while the girls played with their barbies and other suitable toys for girls.

I would be inclined to do one of two things. First option is remove the toy section entirely. Second option is create a "gender neutral" part of the store separate from the normal part. Everything "gender neutral" goes there. Give it the same stigma as shopping in the "adult video" section of a video store.

My kids gravitated towards the traditional toys that boys or girls played with.
However, the girls did build with Legos and my son did on occasion, play with dolls. We did find boy dolls for him.

That’s already the case in many stores. It’s the puzzle, art, and party gift area.

From the article:
California Assemblymember Evan Low, D-Silicon Valley, said an 8-year-old inspired him to introduce the bill. “I was inspired to introduce this bill after 8-year-old Britten asked, ‘Why should a store tell me what a girl’s shirt or toy is?’” Wrong question Mr. Low. The question for you is, "why are you, an openly gay man, determined to groom children?"
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Well, it seems that some in California, feel the need to get input from 8 year olds, in determining what our laws and public policies should be.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
All they have to do is just remove all signs and labels.
It’s silly, but not onerous.
