It’s the law. Everywhere. You have to be officially declared the loser of an election, before you can protest it. Trump didn’t fight the results in all his trials, most commonly he was just trying to get votes thrown out, but in order to fight the results, you have to have standing. In order to have standing, you have to have provable personal damages, which you get when you are officially declared the loser.
Those of us who were following this very closely at the time were aware of this. It actually even came up again in Kari Lake’s protest of her election, and why she waiting so long to file her election lawsuit, to make sure she had standing.
But Trump just ran off once he had actual legal standing, probably because many lawyers and election officials, including his own AG, his Chief of Staff, his Campaign Manager, new investigators he hired, etc etc etc, all told him he had lost.
This is nonsense.
There are damages that are incurred through out the time period.
You can bring a case before the voting, during the voting, during the counting, after the counting, before the certification, after the certification...etc all the way thru to January 6th and any time after that.
And that's what the Trump team did. And it's what others have done, in 2000 for example.
You are repeating nonsense talking points.
