I will pray for Oregon. My late Mother was born in Portland in 1915, one of five girls and a brother.
On a road trip several years ago, our family checked out the address where she first lived. Now, it is covered by railroad tracks leading into Union Station.
We were impressed with your beautiful state back then, before rampant homelessness and the BLM kerfuffle. We followed the Columbia River east and into Idaho.
What a difference between the coast and the rest of the state!
Portland used to be the most beautiful city in America, so clean and safe. My grandmother came here around 1915 and lived in Oregon my entire life.
