I've been one of the biggest DeSantis supporters on this forum. I still am. I truly believe he is an order of magnitude better than Donald Trump.

But I'm not a delusional cult member. Right now, Trump has the momentum. He is the likely favorite to win the GOP nomination. The Democrats have set him up for thes believing he will be the easiest to knock down.

I doubt DeSantis will win in either Iowa or New Hampshire. If I were a betting man, at this point, Trump will soundly take both primaries. After which, the race will essentially be over.

I think Ron DeSantis' best bet, --and the best bet for the country, would be to angle for the VP pick (a helluva lot better than Nikki Haley, that's for sure).

Detractors will say, "Trump will never pick DeSantis. Too much acrimony between the two!"

This is not true.

At the end of the primaries, those with integrity will shake hands and support the winner for the betterment of the country.

And perhaps the best chance we have is Trump/DeSantis 2024.

With thinking like that, Trump might as well stab himself in the back, and get it over with.

desanctimonious is done. He’s dead as a politician. He’s so bad and unappealing, he won’t even get a spot as a talking head on cnn, for them to attack Trump with.

I would support such a ticket if it came about. I do not believe that will happen.

If Trump were somehow removed from the picture with DeSantis still remaining, I would support DeSantis. I do not believe that will happen.

If only the Republican Dwarf candidates were allowed in the picture, I would vote for "Vermin Supreme" as the write-in candidate. And I would make other preparations active.

I believe there is a non-zero chance of that last scenario.

“those with integrity” will. Which of the midgets can even spell integrity?

Ramaswamy — most likely will support President Trump
Christie — Hail no! He’d rather die. Or diet.
Nimrata — Probably not, but maybe
DeSantis — Maybe so but I kinda doubt it

... did I miss any of the obscure midgets? Kinda forgot who they all are, or were. Jeb? No, that was 2016...

If they left us alone and ignored Trump. Maybe DeSantis could have done better.

But why would they do that?

“But I’m not a delusional cult member.”

I award your CNN brainwashed mindset with Tucker Carlson’s description of DeSantis supporters online:

“The people who represent him online are the nastiest, the stupidest, and the most zero-sum people I’ve ever seen in my life.”
