Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who has been vaccinated multiple times, just came down with COVID and he still sings the praises of the jab, claiming that he’s glad to be “up to date with the vaccine.”
The socialist senator is now 82 years old. His symptoms are reportedly mild and he will work from home while he’s in isolation per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“I have tested positive for Covid,” Sanders wrote on X Thursday. “My symptoms are minimal and I will continue to work from home in Vermont while isolating in accordance with CDC guidance. I am glad to be fully up to date with the vaccine.”

I am not dissing Dr. Salk at all, he did good work, eliminating the debilitating and deadly disease, but we didn't need 10 jabs for polio.
If Sanders had gotten the vaccine this never would have happened.

If a vaccine doesn’t vaccinate, then it simply doesn’t work.
I know several people who had many vaccine shots and boosters and then still had covid multiple times. They have thankfully survived both, but the fact is... They would’ve likely survived without being vaccinated. This concept that, if you’ve been vaccinated you’re symptoms will be milder, is complete bunk with no actual scientific proof. Plenty of assumptions, but no real world data.
Yep, that's really funny when they say "Trust the Science" then provide ZERO data.
Some are sick with covid right now after the holiday, including many who skipped their family holiday get togethers because they are sick with covid.

At 82 years old, his immune system is very weak.
This means that even if he has been vaccinated within the last month and the immunity from the most recent vaccine has not decreased significantly yet, his immunity still might not be adequate. There have to be enough antibodies in the blood and on mucous membranes to fully block all virus particles during an exposure to a contagious person. If only some virus particles are blocked, the person will still get sick.
Vaccines are not an impermeable shield that bounces viruses away. They are a training aid for the immune system. A weak immune system simply does not learn very well.
These vaccines were not tested for their ability to block Covid infection. They were tested for their ability to keep people out of the hospital, especially the ICU. And they are 95% effective at this.
The death rate of Covid in unvaccinated persons above age 80 is 24%. Based on the fact that he only has mild symptoms, it looks like the vaccinations were effective for Sanders.
According my World Almanac 2024, there are an estimated one billion colds each year in the U.S.
But I’d better test, mask up, and hide in my closet if I catch one, just to be sure I don’t die.

1. The guy's symptoms were so mild that he thought it was seasonal allergies.
2. He had never gotten a COVID vaccine.
In the last few years the medical profession has been reduced to a laughingstock of witch doctors and alchemy.
Think about how much worse it could’ve been. He might’ve been forced to go out and buy another mansion.

My brother’s girlfriend who has gotten all the boosters couldn’t make it to Christmas dinner because she has covid again. It is like her 4th time. I feel bad for her.
