Former President Donald Trump put out a video message Tuesday night urging his supporters to turn out for the 2024 Republican Iowa caucus in 20 days, but also accused his opponents of cheating.
Trump began the video clip by thanking his “Trump caucus captains” and urging them to “turn out” their voters on caucus night.
Trump, in typical fashion, then accused the process of being rigged by his opposition.
“And that’s what you have to do. You know, the other side does cheat!” he insisted, adding:
"And we’re not going to let that happen. We cannot let that happen. But that’s what we need from you. Get in your car, get a lot of people and get down and caucus. Give a great speech for me. I hope you will. And I know you will have such confidence in you as you had in me. And you have in me."

If he loses Ia, he will have himself to blame for not debating. Nothing to whine about.
He’s not going to lose.
Considering he is up by 30% in the polls anything less than a Landslide tells me something is cooked!!
If he loses Ia, he will have himself to blame for not debating. Nothing to whine about.
There’s no way to ‘rig’ Iowa caucuses short of brazen altering of vote results. If candidate’s supporters show up, those with the most win. Period.
He’s got a big mouth but he’s usually right.
Does anyone know the caucus process in Iowa? People gather in a room.
Who counts them?
I’m not so sure the democrats have even finished counting 2020.
Trump has a point. It was the RINO GOPe that filed suit to have Trump removed in Colorado. That’s as much cheating as one can do.

The best excuses have to be cultivated; the audience prepped. Every successful NYC real estate developer is well practiced in it.
I think the way to rig Iowa is for certain candidates to release their delegates to go over and stand with another’s delegation until that other delegation outsizes Trump’s.
Under actual primary voting, in 2016, they tried to gang up on Trump in Indiana to slow Trump’s momentum. I think it was a win for the opponents, but it was only temporary.
I call it “alerting.” Gee, Freepers were losing their s**t when Trump didn’t do enough “complaining” about the 2020 rigging of the election ahead of time.
And we know the Cruzers cheated in 2016.
Since 2016, presidential preference voting is secret ballot, and results are binding on delegates.
Thanks; didn’t know that.
Where, when are the ballots cast and counted?
Literally the very election Trump ever participated in - the Iowa Caucus of 2016 - he said it was rigged after Ted Cruz beat him.
It’s like claiming fraud when things don’t go his way has been his M.O. since day one.
Results of secret ballots are reported to county and state GOP same night. Only in a few urban areas that are locked into Dems anyway could be faked.
I have been intimately involved in Iowa caucuses since the first (Dems in ‘72 for high school, and GOP since ‘76) either as a delegate or a rep for a candidate. Pat Buchanan in the ‘90s.
That means Democrats are allowed to vote in a Republican primary, and Nimrata has been begging Democrats to flood in and vote for her in the Republican primary.
Are any of you old enough to remember in 2018 Akin running for Senate against Claire McCaskill in Missouri? He was the wing-nut who made the statement that it is impossible for a woman to be raped because if she truly hated the act, the vaginal muscles would tighten making penetration impossible. It was a three way race for the republican nomination. Guess what? Democrats flooded the primary and voted for Akin, and he won the nomination and went on to lose to McCaskill. Democrats LOVE open primaries.
The DeSantis campaign (his wife, I think) called for neighboring states supporters to get out and caucus. At least, that’s how it was reported - and I do not trust reporters, in general.
