“So their ducks are in a row for the next election theft.”

Exactly right.

How big is the office? Could it be someone is getting ready to retire, then “accepts” the transfer, and lets FedGov pay moving expenses?

I thought a national police force was against the law... But then again so is taking bribes. And ignoring laws about protecting our border.

Biden and is crime family strike again.

It’s normal for organized crime to want to expand it’s operations.

That was to expand Nancy Pelosi’s authority beyond a tiny little group of buildings.

Exactly. What Nanzi wanted is a private police force with the power to arrest and detain in a nationwide jurisdiction, its powers curbed only by (snicker) Congressional oversight. One example of what can happen is the Ashley Babbitt murder, where the capitol police investigated themselves and concluded they'd done no wrong. Case closed. Now imagine that with a SWAT team to hand anytime the Speaker wants one.

This needs to be stomped out hard. One of the many reasons the elites fear Donald Trump is the conviction that he'll obstruct this police state nonsense.

“We were warned back in 1968, by Conspiracy Theorists that the US was trying to force a FEDERAL POLICE FORCE on the US.

It looks like it was not a theory after all.”

No one is objective enough to listen and consider the words deeper when they should. They always wait until it is too late and the whirlpool is too large to escape.

Problem is... They never ever learn from it so now here we are.

The Democrats are going to make sure that they'll win the election in 2024.

One would think the “Capitol Police” would have no authority outside of the Capitol, much less D.C.

I thought the Capitol police already had an office in San Fran, and Florida.

This was done under Pelosi’s speakership. Capitol Police work for Johnson now. He owns this unless he stops it.
He can call the Capitol Police Chief and end it tomorrow.

U.S. Code, Title 2, Chapter 29 defines the powers and duties of the U.S. Capitol Police. The U.S. Capitol Police has the authority to enforce the laws of the United States in any area of the United States and has the power to effect warrantless arrests for any offense against the United States committed in their presence, or for any felony cognizable under the laws of the United States upon probable cause, in the performance of their protective duties. Qualified members of the U.S. Capitol Police may also travel outside of the United States when performing security advisory and liaison functions for congressional travel.

But, in that is the term progformance of their protective duties which is defined on their website as:

“The United States Capitol Police (USCP) safeguards the Congress, Members of Congress, employees, visitors, and Congressional buildings and grounds from crime, disruption, and terrorism. We protect and secure Congress so it can fulfill its constitutional and legislative responsibilities in a safe, secure and open environment.

We protect the legislative process, the symbol of our democracy, the people who carry out the process, and the millions of visitors who travel here to see democracy in action. We also protect everyone who visits the Capitol, who can see first‐hand how we work to represent the best of America’s spirit and diversity.

https://www.uscp.gov/the-department#:~:text=We%20protect%20the%20legislative%20process,of%20America‘s%20spirit%20and%20diversity.

There is nothing within tht job description that covers any enforcement of any type that deals with civilians unless it is in the affairs of the displayed resources, people or buildings. It’s like having a embassy in another country. They have no authority except to be there.

Wjhat they are describing is conning the public to think they can go into civil law enforcement outside of their designatged area. They can’t

Because Pelosi ramrodded the bill to increase the capitol police to defend “democracy” fromTrump into law in 2020.
That “conservative” leader Mike Johnson hasn’t moved to revoke the law is telling.

Capitol Police:

“the legislative process, the symbol of our democracy”.

See my tagline.

They are Mob bodyguards protecting the Organized Crime Commission meetings.

Capitol Police are under the authority of Congress, just as Supreme Court Police protect Justices and staff and Secret Service protects the Executive Branch. They all have jurisdiction anywhere on US controlled territory their protectees are.

It’s called separation of powers.

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s area I understand.
She’s so well liked she needs protection.

But why Tampa, Florida?
Maybe to protect Scientology headquarters???
