Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) bashed former President Trump online and said Christians who support him “don’t understand” their religion.
“I’m going to go out on a NOT limb here: this man is not a Christian,” Kinzinger said on X, formerly known as Twitter, responding to Trump’s Christmas post. “If you are a Christian who supports him you don’t understand your own religion.”
Kinzinger, one of Trump’s fiercest critics in the GOP, said in his post that “Trump is weak, meager, smelly, victim-ey, belly-achey, but he ain’t a Christian and he’s not ‘God’s man.’”

That's not what that means. There are many churches that meet the definition of Protestant but aren't affiliated with any denomination, The members of those churches are non-denominational Protestants.
From what I have seen, Trump is an occasional church attender for political purposes only.

For 12 long, agonizing years this punk was my congressman. In 2010 the democrats in this state pushed the 16th and 17th district together, since both had republican representatives, knowing they’d get rid of one. My man, Don Manzullo, lost to this phony who pretended to be a conservative. The first I heard from him he came out for amnesty for illegals. In 2022 the democrats repaid him for his loyalty by changing the district map again in such a way he had no chance of winning. Faced with a challenge he did what all cowards do. He quit. Now he’s trolling to be the house “republican” on MSDNC.
