The feds can find out who was on the grounds of the US Capital on Jan 6, but can’t figure out who is threatening a US Congressman.
If 1 democrat congressman or senator were swatted, the swat team would end up in the DC gulag with the J6 protesters.

Simple solution; find the perp, then find a rope and tree.
Should be a severe felony crime. Not only for attempted murder by cop, but you’d think law enforcdment would not like to be someone’s playtoy/b1tches.

Not if you pick approved targets. Those would be persons in disfavor with the current rulers.
Nothing will happen to the perpetrators, because the government will make no real effort to find them. That is why this keeps happening.
On the other hand, somebody who swats a high-level Democrat or other unapproved target will get rolled up in a week and will get a long prison sentence.
Wait till they “Swat” Trump and The swat team shoots it out with secret service and kills Trump—such a “Terrible Mistake”. They will give Trump a beautiful funeral and a nice grave in Arlington. Three days of Mourning, lots of crocodile Tears, A Special on The Greatness of Trump (now that he’s dead). I can see it.
I haven’t followed stories about this despicable practice.
