China’s state propaganda outlet Global Times proclaimed 2023 the “most depressing Christmas Eve in the West since the end of the Cold War” on Tuesday, claiming that a failure to support the Communist Party’s foreign policy demands had made the holiday “insecure.”
The state newspaper, which acts as a mouthpiece for the regime of dictator Xi Jinping, listed several international conflicts made worse by the influence of the Chinese government as the reason for the alleged malaise in the season, prominently including the Russian invasion of Ukraine – which China did not oppose – and the “Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” by which the Times meant the war between Israel and the genocidal terrorist organization Hamas. Beijing has steadfastly supported Hamas’s interests and demanded the international community place “constraints” on Israel’s ability to protect its civilians in the aftermath of the October 7 atrocities.

Yep, the Chinese can use a steady stream of additional Muslims to fill their work camps and to provide fresh sources of profitable organ donors.

China is the most depressing country in the world as far back as we can remember. And they’re delusional, calling others what they themselves are.
Since when do Communists care about Christmas? Their soulmates are behind all the “Holiday” only stuff in our country.
It’s not just Biden. While I agree his spending spree really damaged the US and China with inflation and now economic problems.
Putin and China, and their little war in Ukraine, is a big drain on everyone. They have now spread the war to the middle east, and it’s damaging much more than just Russia and Ukraine. China COULD EASILY END THE WAR by refusing to supply Russia with spares. Biden could EASILY end the war by refusing to allow Chinese imports while they supply Russia. The Ukraine part is easy, just quit helping Ukraine and they will go to the negotiating table. This is a Stupid war, and it has worldwide stupid prizes now. Trump would have never let it get this far.
I will classify China as runner-up in the “Most depressing country in the world”
