Israel has already "paid the price". As in over 2,000 Israeli dead from the war started by Iranian proxies in Gaza.

Time for Iran to pay the price. That would be around 400,000 Palestinians and Iranians dead, and destruction of Iranian oil facilities on Kharg Island.

"Proportional response" does not settle wars. Neither does purely defensive measures. Those are policies for losers. Losers in the Middle East die. Their families die and relatives die. Their friends die. The survivors go somewhere else.

That is how it has always worked, and it is still the way it works today. We have lived our lives in the West very sheltered from such harsh realities. Unfortunately for us, the "rules" are shifting underneath our feet.
