I’ve known too many. My mother warned, “You listen to what people say. They’ll tell you how they’re going to treat you. It’s up to you to believe them and take the appropriate action.” I knew one who was the person you’d point to as a “moderate Muslim.” Everyone liked him. He smiled a lot and was always cheerful. But he’d say things casually like, “You won’t like it when we take over. You’ll be my slave. You’ll pay me taxes.” Or, when asked why he planned on having fifteen children. (At 40 years old he married a twelve-year-old.) “We need children for the Jihad.”
