Marrying a twelve-year-old?
I don’t believe this.
All cultures are the same, don’t-cha-know. She came into the country from Palestine noticeably pregnant as Feud’s wife. He was an American citizen and apparently nobody at the airport said anything. Below is what Wikipedia says about Muslims and marriage age. When I met her, I thought she was one of his daughters. She already had six children and I figured she had been continuously pregnant since marriage. When I asked him about it, he said, “that’s her job.” The bride candidates had been picked out my Feud’s mother. He picked the one living in the worst circumstances because he said she’d be grateful for being removed from the circumstances. (Fourteen people living in one room.)

No age limits have been fixed by Islam for marriage according to Reuben Levy,[12] and “quite young children may be legally married”. The girl may not live with the husband however until she is fit for marital sexual relations.[12] The Hanafi madhhab of Islamic fiqh maintains that a wife must not be taken to her husband’s house until she reaches the condition of fitness for sexual relations. “In case of a dispute on the matter between the husband and the bride’s wali (her nearest male kinsman and her guardian), the judge (qadi) is to be informed and he is to appoint two matrons to examine the girl and report on her physical preparedness for marriage. Actual marriage is later, but the age for it varies in different lands.”

Why not? The Hadith records Mahomet marrying Aisha when she was six years old and consummating (raping her) when she was nine years old. The Koran calls Mahomet the perfect example of human conduct, to boot.
