Why not? The Hadith records Mahomet marrying Aisha when she was six years old and consummating (raping her) when she was nine years old. The Koran calls Mahomet the perfect example of human conduct, to boot.
I took the original comment to mean they got married in the USA. I couldn’t believe a State would condone that.
If this not accurate and they got married somewhere else, i stand corrected.
