Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) said Friday on MSNBC’s “José Díaz-Balart Reports” that she was hopeful former President Donald Trump will be banned from other state ballots following the Colorado Supreme Court ruling.
Wasserman Schultz said, “I know there has been a lot of chatter over the last few days since this court ruling about whether or not section three of the 14th Amendment was intended to apply to presidents of the United States, foreign presidents. The Section 3 begins, ‘No person shall,’ I mean, it doesn’t have an exception for other offices, and it applies specifically if you are an officer of the United States and you swore to uphold an oath to support the Constitution of the United States.”

That’s what occurs to me too.
We were told by these Democrats that we are supposed to save democracy and all of that.
But when it comes to elections they want to take Republicans off the ballot.
They believe in free and fair elections only if you get to vote for a Democrat.
How is that fundamentally different from elections in communist countries , where the only candidates on the ballot are communist?
I do wonder if anyone will ever get to the bottom of some guy from Kenya who went to a madrassa in Indonesia and actually entered Punahou private school( no wait list) in Hawaii and ended up with a BC from Honolulu after the fact...after trying to force McCain out because he was born on some military base....

It’s fascinating how little sense she makes as she excuses an authoritarian Biden administration do what authoritarian governments have always done through history to keep power and limit choice and freedoms.
