Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, reversed a recent decision to allow biological males to attend the university if they have a history of identifying as a woman.
Last month, President Katie Conboy told the faculty about the policy change in an email obtained by Fox News Digital.
"Saint Mary’s will consider undergraduate applicants whose sex assigned at birth is female or who consistently live and identify as women," Conboy emailed.
The school’s policy change drew harsh criticism from people like Fort Wayne-South Bend Bishop Kevin Rhoades, who reportedly urged the school to reverse course because the policy went against Catholic teachings.
On Wednesday, Conboy and the chair of the school’s board of trustees, Maureen Smith, emailed the Saint Mary's College community saying the school would return to its previous admission policy.

It’s all about the dollar.

As long as these new members of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, put their offerings into the collection plate, all is good.
That’s the ticket!
Now they can keep the name of the town “Notre Dame.”
He is able, canonically, to "forbid" their use of the word "Catholic" in their name or their literature. He probably can't make it stick in secular court but it would look REALLY bad to the alumnae. That carries some clout. Enough, apparently, that they suddenly got their heads right.
ya think???
President Katie Conboy...history of identifying as a woman...
sounds like an episode from the "Twilight Zone"...
A very good friend of mine, a (former) theology teacher at a (allegedly) Catholic high school, got in trouble with the President of that school for teaching that homosexuality, transgenderism, abortion, and a few other moral evils violate Scripture and Catholic Doctrine. My friend was not given the choice to resign or be fired; my friend was straight up fired.
The wretched creatures at St. Mary’s shouldn’t get that choice either; they too should be straight up fired. Show them the same lack of courtesy their ilk showed my friend.
Would they have join a nunnery and taken holy orders? I don’t think so.
Well said.
What’s most disgraceful is that the board had to have outsiders tell them that this was wrong.
SAVED!!!!!!
As I keep saying, it is up to the gals to STEP UP and put an end to all this shit. We gave them their own sub-par sports and Title 9, it is up to them, THE GALS, to defend it against (female) Leftist Monsters who simply HATE WOMEN.
We cannot do any more for them.
"No way! huh huh..huh huh. Hey school teacher, check it out, I identify as a woman huh huh"
"Heh heh heh...me too, I identify as a woman...heh heh"
"Yeah so like, when do we get to see these naked chicks...huh huh huh"
DARN IT !
Now they will have to change the female student medical plan to cover prostate issues, testicular cancer and erectile dysfunction.
If you want the dollar, you cannot afford to tarnish the brand. Trans-”women” are exactly what people attend all-women Catholic colleges to avoid.
“But dude, I’m a like a lesbian transwoman.”
“who consistently live and identify as women”
Consistently? Trans-excluding bigots.
Most Catholic schools are in a death spiral in terms of attendance; many have simply gone from all-boys/all-girls to co-ed in response. See this as just another doing the same; I’d take it as a sign it will be closed within 10 years or so.
“If you want the dollar, you cannot afford to tarnish the brand.”
To many people have become complacent about worth. They will buy autos at almost double what they’re worth and will spend over a dollar for a soft drink that the most expensive thing in it is the paper cup. People are programmed. A little like sheep. And they are happy to be told this is an improvement whether it is or not and buy into it. (Notice I said buy?) And they’ll pay the price being just as happy as they are told using that tarnished brand, or any brand.
