Bolton: Colorado Disqualification Decision ‘Incoherent,’ SCOTUS ‘Will Reverse’
Breitbart ^ | 12/20/2023 | Pam Key

Former National Security Adviser John Bolton said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Source” that the Colorado Supreme Court decision disqualifying former President Donald Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot was “incoherent,” and he predicted it will be overturned.

Partial transcript as follows:

KAITLAN COLLINS: Ambassador Bolton, when you look at this, this measure that was put in place to to keep former confederates from returning to power, I mean, what do you make of it being used here?

BOLTON: I think it’s completely misplaced. I think this this Colorado Supreme Court decision is badly wrong for multiple reasons. Number one, the 14th Amendment provides that Congress can pass legislation to carry its provisions into effect, which Congress has done on many aspects. It has not put anything with respect to Section Three on the books since just after the Civil War.

The Dimocrats know the ruling will get overturned and are counting on it. They can’t have him not get the nomination.

Those who are veterans will know what this means...
You have a chain.
You never break the chain.

Same goes for the courts.
Follow the chain.
Don’t jump it.
Appeals courts first.
They can rule and stay this incompetent decision just as well as the Supremes.
Never jump the chain.

There is something else going on here, and I got a feeling they want President Trump to jump the chain.

The only appeals court with jurisdiction to hear a State Supreme Court appeal is the USSC. Assuming that the Colorado Supreme Court is the highest state court in CO.

Jenna Ellis——What is absolutely wild about the Colorado Supreme Court opinion is that it contains “no limiting principle.”

Republicans should immediately file suit in Colorado
<><>to remove Joe Biden from the ballot,
<><>citing his failure to secure the border
<><>and for allowing an invasion.

“Allowing an invasion” falls within the Court’s removal of Trump based on a broad definition of “engaging in insurrection.”

Challenge this nonsense.

"BOLTON: Well, ultimately it should be. But if this case – and I do think the Supreme Court will take it — that they they should not let this kind of erroneous decision rest out there because other cases are going to be brought, you can see it already — this has to be something that Congress itself, if they want to enact legislation — which they haven’t done for 150 years — about what the meaning of Section Three is, then it’s not up to the states to make it up as they go along."

Such a smarmy, wimpy way to 'commentate'.

This guy had a rep for being brash, usually in command of the facts, usually dead-wrong on policy, Trump cursed him out and of course, that moose moved Porn Mustache's cheese "How dare you curse at me?!? You and I are enemies now, Meester Trump grrr" lofl; and now he's reverted to what he was all along : "Johnny Simpering Milquetoast, CNN Commentator".

His family must be so proud, stupid c\/ck. His harridan wife probably texted him in the middle of his setup: "Stop on your way home and pick up some chicken, Milquetoast!"
