NEW YORK -- Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a candidate for the Republican nomination for president, has a book coming out next year on the legacy of a GOP hero — former President Ronald Reagan.

Threshold Editions, a conservative imprint at Simon & Schuster, announced Tuesday that it will publish “What Would Reagan Do?: Life Lessons from the Last Great President" on Feb. 6.

“It's amazing what how much Reagan was able to achieve by sticking to his principles and connecting on a human level with those around him,” Christie writes in the introduction. “Each chapter of this book is not only great history, it also contains a blueprint for bringing our country back to achieving big things at home and around the world.”

Christie's previous books include “ Let Me Finish ” and “ Republican Rescue.”

These are different times than Reagan’s time, pugnaciousness is precisely what is needed.

“It will sit in the bargain bin at the .99 cent store next to Brittany Spears and Prince Harry’s autobiographies.”

It would be useful to hide stuff as no one would ever think of opening it.

Christie was hired to do one thing: Attack and denigrate Trump. I’m sure he’s being paid very well for doing so, and as soon as his usefulness in this regard is past, he will take his 30 pieces of silver and move on to his next gig. The books are the money laundering vehicle (preferred by the deep state) for paying him off.

Had the lowest approval rating of any governor in history, when he left office.

How presumptuous of Christie saying what Reagan would do. Christie is a blow hard establishment RINO who would have worked to undermine Reagan at every turn.

Maybe so. What’s needed is to change voter’s minds, which requires getting their attention, including drawing their attention away from other attention-getters.

Trump’s good at getting people’s attention. His job becomes convincing them that his ideas are good, other ideas are bad, and that he’s a decent, honest person.

What would Reagan do?

He would get shot and then let his Ex-CIA, Deep State VP take over most decision making from that point on.

“Reagan was the last great president” translates to:
‘Trump is a meanie!’ and ‘Aren’t I clever?’ in blubberspeak.

Speaking for myself, I don’t care what Trump does with his personality as long as he wins the election.
