Maybe his mother CHOSE to wear the burqua at that time. He felt like it’s was a big damn deal that I wear one when I should meet her.

Just a chapter in the life.

We got the story of my house burning down when I was a kid. Lots more.

Y’all probably have lots of life’s events your descendants would like to know.

Wouldn’t you like to sit down and read a book written by your great-grandfather or mother?

There’s a future in this.

I think those pictures were from Tehran city. I’m sure out in the country people were more traditional.

But I do remember a friend of mine in the USAF who married an Iranian woman while stationed there and she was very upset about the Shah dying and how Iran was falling into fundamentalism. She had a lot of pictures from the modern life in Iran that is no more. :-(
