DeSantis: Nikki Haley Owes You The Answer, Would She Be Trump's VP?

DeSantis on Trump/Haley:

• Haley refuses to rule out being Trump’s VP, says he absolutely would not be VP

• Says he’s the only candidate that can beat Trump, Haley can’t win because she doesn’t have enough support among conservatives and core Republicans

— Josh Power (@JoshPower80) December 15, 2023

During an event Friday in New Hampshire, Ron DeSantis challenged Nikki Haley to directly state whether she would consider being Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate.

"Haley and Trump spend money against me. He has not spent any money against her and she has not spent any money against him," DeSantis said. "She will not answer directly, and she owes you an answer to this: Will she accept a vice presidential nomination from Donald Trump? Yes or no?"

“ Anyway, I anticipate this whole matter as moot as I don’t think we’ll see Trump on the ballot next November.”
*******************************************

IMHO at this point it’s a near certainty that Trump will be our candidate next November and equally certain that the duplicitous Haley will NOT be his running mate.

The really funny thing is that is exactly what you said about desanctomonious beating Trump.

Nah, I've long ago resigned myself to the fact that DeSantis will not be the nominee.

Too many GOP primary voters would rather lose with a geriatric, liberal circus clown than win with an actual accomplished conservative.

Well, I can understand your thinking, except for one major part that you may have not thought through fully. That being:

VP isn't second in command.

As they say, a VP is always a heartbeat away from becoming the president.

Since all else has failed, do you honestly believe they would not resort to assassination for self-preservation?

I do not want to risk the life of Trump for the salvation of this nation. I would rather save Trump & pray for the Lord's intervention even harder & more than I already do.

Out of chaos who knows what might arise.

We already know that the Republican Party is either incapable of being leaders or they do not want to really be leaders, because they are not leaders. Thus even when they hold 2 of the 3 branches of government the Democrats wield more power & exert more leadership than the Republican Party can muster up.

The people, less than two years into the Biden leadership are already fed up with the Biden leadership leading this nation into hell with no sight of ever returning, are not happy with that. So, what might another six years of Biden produce. I even doubt it would be anywhere close to six years before the citizens rise up in revolt as a far more united force. Even the BLM guy threw his support behind Trump. What might result from that chaos?

But since all of my faith lays with the Lord to begin with, that is far more important than anything this earthly life has to offer.

Let's just say, that we live in interesting times. 😋

I could live with Kristi Noem, or even Kari Lake. Both are also eligible to hold the office of President & Vice President as Natural Born Citizens.

Regardless of who is top on the ticket--Trump or DeSantis--Republicans have a deep bench of well-qualified governors for vice-president--Noem, Reynolds, and Youngkin are good examples.

Lake is a loser and won't be on a ticket.

Aren’t you one of the many repeatedly saying you won’t vote for DeSantis if he ends up on the ballot in 2024.

That's just a fact Jack. But it doesn't matter, desanctomonious will never be on the ballot. I don't run around bragging about it, or thinking that any of you losers give a crap about who I vote for. In truth, I could care less what you do or think.

>She would just be another Pence.

Correct. The DS is adept at this game:
- JFK/LBJ
- Reagan/Bush
- Trump/Pence

just to name three easy examples. The would-be reformer is shackled to a DS asset who hampers, curtails, or if necessary replaces him. Much less dramatic than how the old Romans treated the Gracchi brothers.

See 47 above. Reagan wasn’t supposed to survive that one IMO.

"It cracks me up, the way you losers think anyone gives a crap about how you'll vote or what you think. Spoiler, no one cares! So stop with your meaningless threats."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that was a petulant outburst, right? Did it sound like a petulant outburst to you? It sure sounded like a petulant outburst to me. Do you always utter petulant outbursts when you don't give a crap? Cause, see...I think when people tell you they don't give a crap but then provide a petulant outburst to show they don't give a crap, the petulant outburst leads me to believe differently. But now, I guess you'll offer another petulant outburst to tell me you don't give a crap about what I believe. So...go ahead. Do another petulant outburst. Come on, please. I'm anxious to here your next petulant outburst.

Did you by chance hear Charlie Kirk’s podcast the other day? He said that Trump called him out of the blue and also asked what would be a good VP pick and Kirk replied immediately “Tucker Carlson.”

You're wrong, nothing petulant about it. It's just that you are totally insignificant.

The DeSantis campaign has failed so miserably that it is now reduced to creating fake issues like “Haley for VP”.

I agree. IMO, all but a few uniparty clingers would agree.
