Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, a Democrat, ripped the Biden administration’s handling of the ongoing illegal immigration crisis and ordered her state’s National Guard to deploy troops to the southern border Friday.
In a statement Friday explaining her executive order, Hobbs said the Biden administration has “refused” to aid Arizona after the state’s “continued requests for assistance” to secure the border. Hobbs signed the order after the federal government closed a port of entry in Arizona earlier this month to send Customs and Border Protection agents to other parts of the southern border, AZ Central reported.
The governor’s order said the Biden administration’s decision to close the port of entry has led to an “unmitigated humanitarian crisis,” putting “Arizona’s safety and commerce at risk.”
“Yet again, the federal government is refusing to do its job to secure our border and keep our communities safe,” Hobbs said in a statement. “With this Executive Order, I am taking action where the federal government won’t. But we can’t stand alone, Arizona needs resources and manpower to reopen the Lukeville crossing, manage the flow of migrants, and maintain a secure, orderly and humane border. Despite continued requests for assistance, the Biden administration has refused to deliver desperately needed resources to Arizona’s border.”
It was not immediately known how many National Guard troops the state will deploy to the border as the governor leaves that decision up to Arizona’s chief National Guard official, Adjutant General Kerry Muehlenbeck, along with the state Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, according to AZ Central. The Guard troops will assist local law enforcement with tracking down fentanyl and human traffickers along with other “enforcement activities,” per the governor’s order.

There. Fixed it.
Since the state has no authority to remove these illegal aliens to their home country's, and Mexico is under no obligation to repatriate any alien other than Mexican nationals, this is a joke.
The only productive thing the NG can do is facilitate the boarding of these aliens onto busses and ship them out of the state.
She is angry because now that Arizona has enough illegals to ensure a one-party Democratic state, the illegals are still coming. Any illegals over that amount become a burden to the state, in her mind.
You know she loves to have enough illegals for election purposes but does not want to preside over the financial disaster that she (dimly) perceives is coming down the pike.
Two possibilities, both of which could be true:
1) Election year is coming, and the Dems know the American public are steamed about the invasion of illegals, so now they have to begin to act like they “understand” and will work at, or look like they’re working at, stemming the invasion horde.
2) The leftists have calculated that enough illegals have crossed the border to cause enough chaos that will aid in the revolution, because the issue is always the revolution. So they can begin to turn off the spigot and know that there are just enough illegals to ensure the continuation of the revolution.
And then the truth comes out. She wants more illegal alien invaders pouring into America .... in an orderly, managed manner, of course.

Looks like a PR move. This has nothing to do with stopping illegal immigration. Instead:

In other words, she still wants to bring in those illegals, but will just do it in a little more orderly fashion.

Isn’t there an old, outdated, yellowed document reposing somewhere in Washington DC that placed the responsibility of maintaining the integrity of the national borders on...let me see, what was it now? Oh, yes, on the federal government! Good thing the ruling class is too enlightened to feel bound by any duties other than enriching its members at the expense of the general public. That sort of rule could be real trouble.

The politics trumps everything until the house is on fire.
To set up tents and generators, open a chow line, do medical checks, and help process the invaders.
It would be better not to send them if they are only going to help the invasion be more orderly.
I still think that a huge detention center should be built in northern Alaska. All illegal border crossers should be sent there until their case is cleared. Call it “Happy Funland” so the left won’t get too offended.
