I like to hope he fell to the ground after his blasphemy, and in his last 10-20 seconds as his consciousness faded, realized what had just happened... and accepted Jesus.
And that many people who saw it have silently prayed to Christ.
Jesus is a non sequitur to a person like that.
That is my hope too.
