I lived in that general area for 20 years ending in 1992. It was pretty conservative those years. Not so much anymore but
not suicidal...even for Cook County.
Illegal as hell for cops to trap people in the bus, and demand health papers. If a Texas town did the same Fedzilla would descend on them in full fury. But whatever... go 50 feet outside the city limits and let them out.

Bus them over to the Metra at Big Timber. No huge police force nearby, and the aliens can only head towards Chicago (Big Timber was the terminus, last I checked.)

Probably some truth to that statement. After all ChiCongo kills and/or mains a couple dozen of it’s citizens every week. A non-english speaking, unarmed person is easy pickings for marauding bands of bros ...

Bus drivers must follow federal CDL duty time regulations. When the driver’s time runs out, he should inform the local cops that he is following federal regulations and is leaving. The passengers are now the popo’s problem.

Buying that hotel, and demolishing it is the very definition of “proactive”-—don’t know the long-term wisdom of it though. I’m a contractor, and preservationist, and don’t like to see things demolished.

Believe me, they’re still there. And Rosemont is home to many of them. How do you think that huge casino ended up there?
