I understand exactly what you mean.
It seems like Feminsts today are simply upset because they don’t have male genitalia, so to make up for their insufficiency, they have to tear down men, not elevate themselves.
It is one of the reasons I so admired Phyllis Schlafly. She was able to stand on her own two feet and go toe to to with any man intellectually, and fully understood and accepted the differences in physicality without allowing the reality of those to stunt her mentally.

Men and women were MADE to compliment each other, IMO. Each of us brings something to the table, and together, we are stronger, better, more capable than the sum of each of us individually.

Viewpoints that involve "all, none, never, any, anyone, etc." contribute to how we end up with masses of people believing propaganda.

I was merely pointing out that the first poster painted with a broad brush. In my experience, I don’t know any women who fit the bill as he described them, meaning there are plenty of women in a different category than he suggested.
There are obviously some people here on FR that believe the propaganda that most single Baby boomer women in their 60’s and 70’s are upset because they never married and had children.
You don’t like it that I disagree with that assessment. Perhaps we should agree to disagree.

You are totally misinterpreting what I said. BTW I’ve been married 46 years now, no complaints. Except I’ll never quite understand how you people think. ha ha
The story is about a woman’s frustration at 38, the desirability of the male sex is not the point here.
My point stands. Women in general don’t realize that the sexual magnetism they possess in their early 20’s simply doesn’t last as long as they expect in terms of marketability. Be realistic. A 38+ man is highly unlikely to want a childless 38 year old woman for purposes of starting a family. A guy that age without kids is not looking longingly for fatherhood. The other option is a divorced guy who has got kids and is paying child support - another poor candidate for a 38 yo woman wanting her first child. Now I’ve seen guys that age go for 20 something women and do the fatherhood thing largely because it’s a package deal. They want a woman in her sexual prime and are willing to make the trade.
I’m only pointing out the social and biological dynamics here. I’m not running down women in any way. The attractiveness (or lack thereof) of men at that age is not relevant here.
BTW, very few of us truly understand that our youth is not going to last forever. We may think we do, but we don’t.
Again, male attractiveness is not relevant to the article or my point. A female’s prime child bearing years are shorter than the male’s capability of fathering a child.
This is biology. That’s what I mean by expiration date. If all men worked out and looked like male models it would change nothing about the biological and social dynamics of a childless 38 year old woman looking to find a a man who wants life partner and wants to be a father.
Here’s a piece of wisdom my father gave me as a young man out of his teens. He said don’t piss around too long because by the time a man is 35 and never been married he is looking for the perfect woman. And she doesn’t exist. The same thing could be said to a woman.

While this was undoubtedly the motivation of the leaders and promulgators of feminism, there was a sad reality among vast numbers of women that acted as kindling for the fire.
Women had become increasingly educated, yet they couldn’t get the high paying jobs they had trained for. They were raised with the idea of a male provider, female homemaker model. But this had an inherent problem. Namely that having and raising children was only useful for about 20 years, after which women were seen as useless.
But at the start, women were thrilled when the jobs finally came, for this doubled their family income and there was a lag for taxes to catch up, then neutralize their earnings.
Once it did, they *had* to keep working for their family to afford the lifestyle they had with a single earner and lower taxes. At the same time, the bar was raised for materialistic child rearing. That is, children became more and more expensive.
Eventually, student loans guaranteed that on graduation, students would take on enormous debt that would set back their prosperity timetable so much that it wouldn’t happen at all.
At the same time, free access to abortion took away years from the optimal reproduction and child rearing window, leaving many women and men without a chance to have families.

Do you mind telling me how old you are? Because I’m not sure why you would reply to my last post with that argument. I’m guessing you’re somewhat older.
Have you looked at what the 20-35 year old women are like? they are overwhelmingly libtarded and the majority of them are into their boss girl phase. Way too many for my liking are drinking to excess and letting every Tom, Dick and Harry into their bed. When the biological clock kicks in, suddenly they want a nice guy to settle down with. That poor sucker gets to pay new car price for something Tom, Dick and Harry rode for free. Yeah, I’m not going to suggest to younger guys to take one for the team and get one of these women.
And if you’re gong to say, but there are nice girls are there, I will simply argue that there are too few of them to go around for all the conservative and family oriented men who want them. A nice girl with conservative values who is also pretty and isnt’ a single mom is like a unicorn nowadays.
