That’s probably part of it.
Some of it is just cultural. They view the world in a series of castes and each one of us, in their mind, belong to a certain level.

Indian resentment of two centuries of British rule of India.Well, technically 90 years of British rule (1858 to 1947) - as the British Raj was established then. If you take the British East Indian company, even then it is only about 120 years.
