BREAKING: Ron DeSantis blames Satanic display on Donald Trump at CNN townhall as Kim Reynolds under fire in Iowa

Not that I know of.
I knew absolutely no Mormons throughout my time in Boy Scouts.
Yet they aligned with French Catholics who had been in constant war with England.
Agreed. The idea that this was the outcome of a policy specifically implemented by Trump is never explained. What policy is he referring to, and how did that enable this specific display? There have been satanic groups for decades, well preceding Trump, and we’ve seen these sorts of displays from them, for years. Here’s just a small sample.
DeSantis is willing to win, even if it’s done by deliberately misleading gullible voters. He makes a provocative suggestion that he knows, doesn’t hold up to scrutiny, but is happy to do so if he thinks it will fool enough voters.
Exactly.
Great examples of “precedent” for DeeSwampus and his, er, followers.
Just MORE Rovian engineered weasel words, from shorty boots.
Hey....that sounds so similar to the SAME tactic Humper Briben used, just this morning.
Maybe they have the same advisors.

Ron, Ron, Ron...
Seriously man, just wrap up the campaign. You’re Christie
lite tactics aren’t paying off for you.
pookie rocks!
I missed it.. admin got to it before I could see it.
You could go back to Alberta.
āAll I know is that some here would vote for Trump over Jesus Christ.ā
Do you know that because they told you, or because you can read minds?
Really?
Born as?
You obviously know nothing about how faith works, which now explains why you made such a ludicrous and demonstrably false statement before.
I am banned from X so I can’t read the link, but if DeSantis says it, he must have good grounds for it—all the noise of “meatball” and other demeaning names used by Trump and his sycophants notwithstanding.
So few of you admit that while you support Trump, his Covid decisions, budgetary policies and judgment of character in others sucked. Plus, most are afraid to give RDS credit for courageous conservative policies as governor.
My comment was hyperbole, barely
Trump is far from perfect - and I have nothing against DeSantis - heās a great Governor.
Trump is my choice for 2024 and I have my reasons - but opinions vary and reasonable people can disagree, depending on what issues are most important to them.
I think there is something unique about 2024 that has Trump supporters extra fired up - namely, the unprecedented and outrageous attacks on President Trump over the past seven years.
Two fake impeachments, a stolen election, the Jan 6 fedsurrection, peaceful MAGA protesters IN JAIL, and now they are trying to throw him in prison for trying to overturn a stolen election.
Since the first fake impeachment hearings I was shocked to see so little outrage among Republican politicians - then another fake impeachment, then the stolen election - where is the outrage?
They should have seen all this for what it is: political warfare and election interference to take away the voice of Republican voters. They should have been outraged. They should have risen to Trumpās defense along ago.
Instead, they decide to take advantage and run against him - some even using the talking points of his Leftist attackers.
If it was any other election I would encourage a well-contested primary and debate season to vet out the best candidate - itās healthy to compete. But for me this oneās different. Trump was already vetted twice and won both times - the voters have already spoken - and got robbed.
I just want to dispense with all this nonsense and see the rightful winner of 2020 back in the White House where he belongs.
I like DeSantis, but he would have earned my deep respect had he -instead of running against him - publicly expressed outrage over the stolen election and the law-fare against President Trump.
I think a lot of Trump supporters feel as I do - disappointed that Republican politicians did not have President Trumpās back when they should have.

Thank you for doing the research (reply #1030! That was my reaction, too.
The 2019 IRS ruling was that The Satanic Temple was entitled to 501(c)(3) status, so individuals could deduct donations on their federal income tax forms. But that didn’t determine First Amendment rights. We had the First Amendment for well over a century before there even was a federal income tax, let alone a section 501(c)(3).
DeSantis is correct that the IRS ruling came during the Trump Administration. He is incorrect to imply that, without that ruling, the government of Iowa would have been free to give the Christian religion (or one branch thereof) a legally preferred status. The government must be neutral among people whose religion is centered on God, Allah, Yahweh, Ahura Mazda, Satan, Zeus, or any other object of worship.
Accusation? Did the IRS grant church status to the Church of Satan during the Trump administration or not? Since they did, what DeSantis said is called a āfactā in the venacular. Itās also far from blaming Trump for the display, unless you are suffering from Trumptardianism.

OK Trump derangement syndromtardism sufferer...Why mention Trump at all if not working hard to link him to the decision?
