I would guess that if the situation in the southern Red Sea deteriorates enough that traffic through the Suez Canal diminishes, the Egyptians would be pretty hacked at the Houthis. The transit fees for large ships are themselves huge, ranging from USD $400,000 to $700,000:
IIRC in 2022 Egypt took in over $8 billion from this source.
One of the news items that popped up a couple of weeks ago. Maybe not even a real threat or only bluster.
