If Satanists wanted to display The Sigil of Baphomet, I would complain. I don't think the government needs to display religious symbols in the public square.

If there is no nativity there should be no menorah or star.

I don’t support at all the display of The Sigil of Baphomet, but this is so much bullsqueeze.

This country was created on a basis of Judeo-Christian thought and mores.

Have we forgotten all that b/c of “legal requirements?”

That’s the issue you face as a local government official if you put up overt religious displays in public places. The satanists will show up and demand equal space in those public spaces. Best to just avoid the issue.
