the actual sources are always better.
Actually MSN is often the better link because it gets around the paywalls like the compost and WSJ allowing easy access to entire articles.
Unfortunately, they often have the annoyance to break up articles into multiple parts requiring readers to keep going to another page, I mostly skip those.

If there is a paywall where someone can’t read an article then a second-rate version of it and having to go through that mandatory clicking twice is of course better than nothing, but avoiding MSN and Yahoo and seeing the original article at the actual source is a richer experience and usually more a learning experience as we see the source and its other related articles.
Personally, if I see MSN as the source I skip the thread or google the title to get to the real source.
