Expulsion requiers a 2/3 vote of Congress. 191 Democrats voted no on merely censuring him. The math doesn’t work out. If he were expelled, I have no doubt he’d easily win re-election.
As for prosecution, the crime was committed in the most densely democrat population in the country, the District of Columbia. The odds are against even one Republican on any jury.
