Maybe. Primary reason is I run a private game watch thread for most OSU football and later basketball games. It’s a good way to reconnect on a regular basis with a lot of friends from my undergrad and grad school days. It’s more in the nature of an online reunion than anything. (We’re scattered all over the country so in person is generally out.) We had a lot of fun watching and going to games together back in the 80s (dangit how’d I get this old LOL) when Ohio State was generally a real school, although the infection started even back then. But I’m trying to think of an alternative. And frankly I won’t care much if they win or lose.

One of the best aspects of my time at UCSD was the total voluntary nature of any sporting activities. Lots of sports oriented clubs for recreation, but no "official" teams. I laughed my ass off when a football game was called off because the quarterback needed to study for a chemistry exam in the morning. I really haven't followed events on campus since graduation in 1976. There are regular mailings begging for contributions. That's not happening with all the leftist BS supported on campus.
