Former President Donald Trump refused in a prime time town hall to rule out abusing power to go after his critics – saying he he wouldn't do it 'except for Day One' – when given multiple opportunities to forswear plans for vengeance or a power grab.
'To be clear, do you in any way have any plans whatsoever if reelected president to abuse power, to break the law to use the government to go after people,' Hannity asked him.
'You mean like they’re using right now?' Trump responded, without answering the question directly. (other subjects) You are promising America tonight you would never abuse power as retribution?' Hannity asked the former president, who is leading President Joe Biden in a series of polls.
'Except for Day One,' Trump answered.
'Meaning?' Hannity asked him.
'I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill.'

It is clear that the USA and Canada and a number of other countries are being ruled by people working for the UN and Davos, Bilderberg etc, and not working for even the dupes who supposedly voted for them, let alone the majority of people who didn’t vote for any of this agenda.
So it’s going to take extraordinary measures to get free from this tyranny. If that is “dictatorship,” so be it, the choice is likely to be us or them, and that is a prescription for civil war. We didn’t bring this on, they did. We didn’t commit treason, they did.
The consequences will have to fit the crimes and they can call it whatever they want, but we need to use every tool in the tool box if we want to restore freedom and prosperity.
I don’t fear Trump will be too harsh, I fear he will be too lenient or will be unable to do what is needed even if he tries to do it. We need to be clear with our opponents, the game is up and we recognize their revolution, now they will face our counter-revolution. Pretending it is otherwise is a guarantee that their revolution will permanently succeed.
We should stop being intimidated and spell out what parts of their revolution we don’t want — electoral fraud, the sexual perversion and the promotion of transgender ideology, the forced end to fossil fuels before the economy can possibly function, the indifference to Chinese interference and disruption, the border insecurity, and the new irritant, a growing anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian attitude. It all needs to be swept away and those who will not accept what the decent majority want to restore must be opposed with all necessary force. They have been imposing a tyranny on a formerly free society and we need to demonstrate that this shall not stand. 2024 is the year when this needs to happen, if it does not happen in 2024, it will never happen. Brainwashed generations will not even know what they lost or what the truth is, they will be marching lock-step to oblivion like the Chinese people, devoid of any opposition or ability to think outside the narrow government box — an ant colony for human beings. That is what our elites want, and they want to control it and live in extreme luxury over top of the horror of everyday life in the near future. Our cities are a prototype and are already there. They now seek to impose the death vision on all the rest of society.
We know who they are and what they are. They deserve absolutely no restraint or compassion. I wonder if Trump is going to be able to do any of what is needed. In his first term, it seemed like he thought he could drain the swamp using swamp creatures and the organs of the globalist state. Fat chance, it would be like somebody overthrowing hitler and asking the SS to round up the rest of the Nazis.
Let us hope he learned this cannot work and that he turns to people more suitable to the work that should begin as soon as possible. It is disturbing that the cabal has another year to do greater damage and dig in further. But with luck the process of election 2024 will prevent that and force them to operate under a microscope deterring greater harm from befalling America. In Canada we face a parallel challenge and there are faint signs of hope here also. But these are very faint indeed.
I want Trump to wreak biblical revenge on his enemies. I want him to quote Conan the barbarian in his inaugural address. What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

Back in my yout, media proclaimed the same thing one minute after midnight of Reagan’s re-election. Congress worked hard to keep him in check. Never happened with bho though. However, as I look at bho’s legislative accomplishments ... other than obamacare, all his gains were through regulatory agencies and EOs. I expect you are right, if Trump were elected in 2024, the lame duck will be a clarion call of the leftist media to make him a lame duck.
The reality is he cannot do it himself, and unless the GOP has a real awakening, how far he can go without Congress will be limited. But as long as he has 34 - 40 Senators who won’t break rank, he can be effective with his veto pen, grinding things to a halt in DC might be a good thing.

Apparently the writer has given up on Congress’ power to impeach and remove a dictator. That should be the sub-headline. It would be great to see how many impeachments Trump could rack up and will be talked about for centuries to the great dismay of the demonkkkraps. They've had their awakening. The problem is that they have not realized that the counterawakening they launched has fizzled out and they are as reviled as the picture in post #7.
I watched the townhall last night. Trump said he, on day one, will close the border and “drill, baby drill.” Nothing more, nothing less. If that be dictatorial, so be it!!
