Conspiracy guys say there is a second Hubble, owned by the CIA, pointed at Earth thatโ€™s used for spying.

You are IBIN (in before it's news).

A crew dragon Hubble repair mission has been discussed. I don’t know where the plans stand currently. I think there’s thought that Hubble is basically at end-of-life now and pouring more money into it is not a good investment, but I don’t know for sure.

My local astronomy club has an image from early in the Hubble days. It’s an image from an “empty” point of space in a little slice sky in Ursa Major. It is awe inspiring how full that area actually is.

If only we we had a manned vehicle — oh, call it a “space shuttle” — so that we could fly a crew up there to fix it.

Ooooopsee! Shuttle don’t go there anymore. Well, they don’t go anywhere anymore. Surely NASA has a plan. Oww owwi know. If they become more diverse and inclusive it will all work out. Flying people? Well, call Elon.

More than likely Elon is designing (with his SpaceX team) the configuration to do that.

33 years is way past it’s initial expected service life. But it would be nice if they could get it humming again.

30-year-old iconic space telescope

After 30 years with rapidly changing technology we haven't put up a replacement for Hubble?

Canโ€™t they send someone out with a tool box and a laptop to straighten things out?

Here's the team for the job:
