Dead longhorn shows up on OK State fraternity FarmHouse's lawn

STILLWATER, Okla. — Members of the FarmHouse fraternity at Oklahoma State University woke up to a shocking sight Friday morning.

Outside the fraternity on Monroe Street laid a dead longhorn. The animal's stomach is cut up the middle, with a vulgar branding or marking aimed at the fraternity.

The incident could be a prank between fraternities, or it could be in reference to the Big 12 Championship game between the University of Texas and OSU on Saturday.

2 News spoke with Stillwater police as they investigate the crime. A spokesman with SPD said a caller reported the dead cow around 6:39 Friday morning

Fraternity prank, or snowflakes showing a disdain for a fraternity that promotes agriculture.

It does remind me of the scene in "Animal House" where the horse was found in Dean Wormer's office.

The fraternity could make lemonade out of lemons, and donate the steer to a foodbank, where they can give protein, to needy families.

I worked on a ranch that had a herd of longhorns. They’re smart critters. I don’t think much of this “prank”.

Where did you get that idea? While it may not grade as high, it is not mandated as dog food.

But I doubt anyone wants to eat the carcass in the pictures, under the circumstances.

Your dad must have told you that when you were a child so you wouldn't cry when he "did the deed" to one you cared about as a pet because that is pure nonsense.
