Biden faces MUTINY over Israel war: State Department insiders warn of 'remarkable and unprecedented' internal turmoil over White House's support for Jerusalem

Joe Biden is facing a significant internal revolt against his administration's stance on the Israel-Hamas war, insiders have said - reflected in nationwide unease at the conflict, and his dismal polls.

The president has been determined to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel following the Hamas terror attack of October 7, which killed 1,200 people.

But he warned Israel's leaders in private and in public not to repeat America's mistakes post 9/11, and be blinded by rage and a desire for revenge.

With 15,000 Gazans killed in seven weeks of bombardment, many inside the Biden administration feel that the White House should do more to rein-in Israel.

Only one person has publicly resigned due to the Gaza onslaught - Josh Paul, a director in the State Department's political-military affairs bureau, which oversees U.S. arms transfers.

But sources told NBC News that the internal unrest - including statements in open letters from government employees - exceeds anything felt in the last 40 years, including the Iraq War and Donald Trump's Muslim ban.

'It's remarkable and it's unprecedented,' said Aaron David Miller, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace think tank who worked at the State Department from 1978 to 2003.

'I've never seen anything like it.'

The anger has been expressed by hundreds of federal employees signing an open letter demanding the Biden administration push for a cease-fire, and dozens of diplomats at the State Department sending official dissent cables.

At the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), hundreds of employees signed a letter critical of the administration's approach, while hundreds of staff members in Congress have staged protests and signed letters demanding a cease-fire.

They reject what they called a 'blank check' for Israel.

The CIA, meanwhile, last month sent out an internal email reminding staff to keep their...

The FBI might set up Biden, like they did with Trump.

Only if the cartel directs them to do that.

Perhaps that is one of the contingency plans being argued in their councils. They could use Biden as the designated scapegoat for some extremely unpopular decision. Like a direct intervention of US forces in Gaza to protect the Palestinians from the IDF.

I believe those pathways are extremely unlikely.

Biden will withdraw from the reelection campaign at the last minute "for reasons of health", and a replacement team will be swapped into his place. No need for the FBI to move against Biden.

Just because you have never seen it does not make it remarkable and unprecedented.

It does if, as many ignorant people do, truly believe that history began on the day they were born: A much easier path to take than is studying -- and learning from -- several thousand years of historical fact.

They reject what they called a 'blank check' for Israel.

Good for them, no blank checks for ANY foreign government!

The State Department has been anti-Semitic and pro-Communist since FDR’s administration.

Foggy Bottom needs to be turned into a landfill.

I imagine the thousands of pro-hamas government employees will go on strike until Biden bombs Israel.

It seems to me that Biden is walking the line perfectly between the pro-Israeli and the pro-Hamas types in his party…perfectly from our POV, that is. Everything that he does or says pisses off one side or the other. I think that is fantastic, from a political point of view, as it ensures that one side or the other is going to largely abandon the Democrats come next November, and maybe even both of them will. It doesn’t mean that either of those traditionally hard-core Democrat groups will vote for Trump, but if they just stay home and don’t contribute money, it will be a huge gain for the forces of Good.

I don't think there has ever been a clearer evil/good separation between the two sides in this conflict. In the history of warfare.

It is so telling that the people supporting the Pals are nothing but evil acolytes of the "father of all lies". Hard to think of any other explanation.

You can sure say the world has gotten worse in the past 60 years.

Events like this make it obvious that it is also coming into much clearer focus.

“Now they’re working against Biden. Maybe now they can get purged out of the system.

But I doubt it.”
——————
You probably can’t get rid of them as federal employees. However, you can transfer them to a different location. My own preferred location is something that President Trump can order the Army corps of Engineers to be build on January 20, 2025, which can probably be ready in a month or so, somewhere in North Central, Alaska. Of course, merely building a facility doesn’t mean it will necessarily have all of the amenities, so heaters might be in a bit of a shortage for a while, there won’t be any Internet (except maybe via satellite, and that only for official government business), and housing might be a bit tight for a while. But every single person who signed that letter to Biden needs to be transferred there ASAP… an among many other officials in the DOJ, FBI and other agencies. Either that, or maybe there are some open spots at our airbase in Thule, Greenland. These people wanna be federal employees, let them put up with some of the hardships that some of our uniformed federal employees have been putting up with for the entirety of the history of this country.

Biden actually thought he was President and could set his administration’s foreign policy. The Deep Staters have trned on him for “going rogue”.

I retired from the State Department at age 55 simply because they are intoloerant marxists with loud mouths who love communists, socialists and hate WHITE MEN. If a world world were to break out and hit DC wiping out State’s HQ and the majority of Muslim countries that started it, we could fix US Diplomacy... well short of wiping out the EU too, but then after the nightmare of living and working with them, the thoughts of them gone with their intolerance lessens my PTSD (Post Tramatic STATE DEPARTMENT).

We are becoming hippies again in America. The Hanoi Jane syndrome.

Even though (luckily) it’s not a majority of Americans for now, there are indeed quite many supporting the Iran, Russia, Hamas alliance. It’s incomprehensible.
That is what socialism does to America. A slow gangrene of all the values Ronald Reagan represented.
