I was a witness to J6 events via TV and I knew many at the capitol were not Trump supporters. They did not dress like Trumpers, they did not act like Trumpers, they did not respect the Flag like Trumpers. They were climbing walls and let Flag drag ground. They were not considerate of others.

Aren’t Federal agents immune from prosecution for any crimes committed in the ‘course of their duties’? I believe I’ve heard that idea put forth. Their duties apparently involved creating an event at the Capitol that would secure the certification of the election of the most popular candidate for President in U.S. history. /s

No true Trump supporter who took the trouble to travel all the way to DC to hear Trump speak would have left the Washington Monument area before Trump finished speaking.

For many it was probably their first visit to DC. For most of the Trump supporters who went into the Capitol, it was their first time there. It is an awe-inspiring building, especially the rotunda where MAGA people walked through respectfully, taking videos from their positions inside the velvet ropes.
