I've just finished reading the hilariously terrible book "What's Left Unsaid" by Melissa DeRosa, secretary to former Gov. Andrew Cuomo (New York) that is so unself-aware, so arrogant, so embarrassing that I have to review it.
I only read it in the first place because I wanted to interview Cuomo on my Substack, figuring that after his defenestration, he'd be a fun interview. But I'm willing to sacrifice that possibility just to wallow in the awfulness of this book. (Plus, recent press reports say he's thinking of running for mayor of New York, so it's topical.)
Most dumbfounding, DeRosa brags about Cuomo bullying everyone into implementing his tyrannical COVID policies -- all of which, as we now know, accomplished absolutely nothing (other than causing half a million New Yorkers to flee the state, making 2020-2021 New York's largest single-year population loss in history).
-- First, Cuomo bulldozed the legislature into giving him emergency powers to "institute mass quarantines, order businesses to close, suspend laws and issue sweeping directives."

With Ann Coulter, one can expect a mixture of hits and misses - this one is pretty much on target.
Good article, but with a serious omission.
Cuomo ordered nursing homes to accept people with covid. We knew from the beginning that Covid hit old people and people with serious pre-existing conditions the hardest. Where do you get people who are both old and have serious pre-existing conditions? Nursing homes. Naturally a lot of old people died as a result of his orders. Seniorcide.
I read Cuomo’s letter. He ordered those private businesses around like they were his employees, or his lackeys. He would think nothing of ordering you around the same way.
This was another thing the Republicans claimed that they were going to do once they were in the majority. Nothing’s happened to Fauci or Cuomo.
All of this evidence point to the fact we need an entirely New, New York.
What we need is to go back to dumb voting machines.
If we were willing to vote for this (bleep), Deep State wouldn’t have to steal our elections.
Cuomo killed between 9,000 to 15,000 people with his actions. They got him out of office with that sex charge. That did not destroy Cuomo, like he could show shame for his actions. Now he is trying to make a come back….
That photo is certainly telling.
Let us not forget the forced infected covid patience that were ordered into nursing homes or else. He murdered the elderly
In a just country, Cuomo and Fauci are hanging from lampposts by their broken necks.
Ann does not mention Cuomo’s decision to move Covid patients into nursing homes. The. resulting death toll makes him a mass murderer
