Hasidic Judaism in this article means a Jewish religious group that has very strict beliefs (from Bing definition). Kinda like Ultra-Orthodox Jew, which I've read is a put down. I first read Chasidic in Chabad emails, which I adore. It means extra kind, extra pious, extra refined. "Without being the Chabad Chasidic community, where are all carriers of the term 'Chasid,' the term will be used as an honorific when pointing to the individual embodying the virtues of the early Chasid: extra kind, extra pious, extra refined."
