Quick 1:21 video of Musk revealing his character. The CNBC weasel tries to shame Musk for speaking his mind and the damage it causes Tesla stock. Musk's response tells us all we need to know about him.
Let me paraphrase, because the poster didn’t.
Elon said, “…screw them. I’ll say what I want to. If it means the company loses some money, so be it, I’m not for sale as a mouthpiece to anyone….”
They NEVER cared about the Twitter stock when the filthy scumbag Jack Dorsey was running things.
Even now, the media does not ever call out leftwing CEO’s, like the bozo’s at Target or Budweiser.
I think that Elon is getting lots and lots of support from the citizens that the woke crowd are trying to separate from their rights of citizenship at the hands of the self-indoctrinated crowed of so-called Journalists.
Do you feel the need to reveal every punchline just in case people who aren’t too bright don’t get the joke?
God bless and protect Elon Musk. Amen.
“I’m not for sale as a mouthpiece to anyone….”
hmmm...but he does do business in China, so there’s that
Not to defend Musk, but does selling cars in China make him a mouthpiece for China?
He doesn’t just sell cars there, he has a factory in Shanghai and all the parts for his cars made here come from China.
You don’t get to have a factory in China unless you tow the line. Is he a “mouthpiece”? That depends on whether agreeing to keep your mouth shut qualifies.
Do you have a source for that claim?
The long pause….. as if he was going to say something remarkable and deep. Which he didn’t.
A three for one split in August is one the original plus two of equal value.
Tesla, love it or hate, is the one stock of which if you owned 500 shares or the value one year’s IRA contribution, would make you a millionaire in thirty 30 years.
Elon is a genisus dealing with stuipd people working for the MSM and the DNC who hate him, all by extension.
I don’t fault him for doing business in Communist China, since Communist China is one of the two most populous countries in the world. Anyone who can is trying to penetrate that market, but the Communists have done all they can to make it a one-way street.
I do fault him for building his factory there, but he is by no means the only American to do that.
There are many ways in which Musk is not a conservative. But he does seem all in on the 1st Amendment, and in these times, a powerful ally like him is worth having on our side in that fight.
Because our enemies, foreign and domestic, are working hard to take down the two most important parts of the Bill of Rights-The First Amendment and The Second Amendment.
We are almost certainly cooked as a nation, but if one or both of those rights are more seriously impinged on or eliminated, there will be now doubt we are done as a Constitutional Republic.
If there is to be any chance of recovering, it will be because of people like Musk who defend their right to speak their mind, which will extend to the rest of us.
All that aside-what American Industrialists are out there beyond Elon Musk? I am glad to have him ostensibly on “our side”. And, you can tell by his enemies, he isn’t on “their side”.
The Chinese are honored to have Elon in their country... they steal all information and not an innovative people by mass design.
He is not doing anything except feeding disinformation to China and the design information for parts that could be built anywhere else.
Elon is on one hand a man of the people and for the people, and on the other hand a person with ties to all the intelligence agencies in the West.
He has seen Rhodisa and S. Africa... Europe and the EU, and now the USA die by a million Marxist slashes.
But what IS remarkable and deep is that he SAID it.
And it is telling, very telling, that we even have to see anything unusual in his verbally expressing what, in a normal and healthy republic, SHOULD be unremarkable and banal.
Orwell said these things that we should keep in mind:
“Some reports suggest that the China-made Teslas have higher quality than the US-made ones. However, almost all aspects of a Tesla car are made in China, except for the autopilot chips and algorithms.
“I do fault him for building his factory there,”
As I said, you can’t have a factory in China unless you tow the line. How is being gagged much different?
BTW, I’m not a Musk hater. I like a number of things he’s done & said. I’m just questioning his not being “a mouthpiece” and not being “for sale” statement. How is being gagged much different?
Bottom line, no one knows what percentage of Tesla components come from China. Not you, not Bing Search.
“Bottom line, no one knows what percentage of Tesla components come from China”
Okie dokie. Let’s say it’s only 1/2. ; )
Kind of off track here from the original point.
“Even now, the media does not ever call out leftwing CEO’s, like the bozo’s at Target or Budweiser.”
Exactly, ask the same damn question to Target, Bud, or Disney CEOs - but they’re never asked, but why not? The answer is that the questioner would be ADMITTING to the huge numbers of conservatives in the country and the power they have...so they don’t ask.
