An American girl who spent her fourth birthday held captive by Hamas was freed by the militant group Sunday as a part of the cease-fire and hostage exchange agreement between Israel and the militant group.
Abigail Mor Edan was among 17 hostages freed on the third day of the fragile truce, which has seen Israel release Palestinian prisoners and allow aid into the Gaza Strip, according to a statement from Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum.
In an exclusive interview in Washington with NBC News’ Lester Holt earlier this month, Abigail’s great-aunt Liz Hirsh Naftali revealed that the little girl’s parents were killed in their home at the Kfar Aza kibbutz.

Notice that it is at the bottom of the third paragraph where they finally mention that the poor child lost her parents to the Hamass terrorists. At no time does the article state that the Hamasses were terrorists, or cold blooded executioners.
One of the authors of this whitewash piece is name Rebecca Cohen. How shameful!
Everyone seems to forget they shouldn’t have taken her in the first place.
Both her parents were killed....
She’ll face a lot of challenges in life. Lets hope it will be as easy and fulfilling as possible.

Someone shouldn’t get the Lifesaving Award for saving the person they punched and threw overboard into the water.
The day before Hamas forced their way into homes and buildings in Israel the people were alive and well. Now parents and others are dead and people have lifelong memories of horror to deal with.
