Trump 'The Nominee' Before March 2024

[cut]

And the truth is—everyone knows it.

This weekend, President Trump was invited to step onto the football field in South Carolina, and the place went nuts. An Instagrammer posting about it simply labeled their footage “SC loves Trump.”

But Trump had a similar moment in Iowa in New Hampshire, and he gobsmacked the DeSantis team with his reception in Florida.

So here’s how this is going to go.

Trump will win the Iowa caucuses on 1/15. This will likely dismantle the “Ron DeSantis as Ted Cruz” narrative for this cycle.

On 1/23, President Trump will win New Hampshire. This will mercifully put down the Chris Christie “campaign.” But with two wins in a row, it will put pressure on Haley and DeSantis. Look for one (DeSantis) to endorse the other (Haley.) The thinking here is that South Carolina is where Trump can be stopped.

But they forgot about 2/3 where Trump will win Nevada. Then, on 2/24, Trump will score a smashing win in South Carolina — a couple of weeks before Super Tuesday.

If Trump goes 4-0 out of the gate—and every bit of data I can find seems to point to it- then he is the nominee for all practical purposes.

This is a good thing—for a few reasons.

The Democrats have really messed up their primary schedule, where they would benefit from the media interest in holding their primaries on the same days as the Republicans they have chosen because of internal bickering not to do so. This only aids Biden as challengers have no larger scrum to draw attention from.

They also have the low energy, low performing, least liked incumbent in the modern era.

When the field is cleared the Republicans can systematically begin laying out the general campaign narrative and driving it home. Define the economy, define the national security threats, and define the migration crises that the voters already intuitively feel.

Basically, the battle to win the middle gets a jump start for the man who can already claim with credibility that he fixed it once—now “give him a chance to fix it for good.”

Yes, by Super Tuesday, it won’t matter what the Steve’s (Deace & Cortes), Jenna Ellis, Congressional reps, or even the Governor of Iowa have to say.

Trump will be the nominee quickly.

That’s good because that’s when the real work is just beginning.

I’m amazed anyone thought President Trump wouldn’t be the nominee.

When the final lawsuit in the appeals court for the judgment on the three lower tiers of appeals courts send their state suit to the Supreme Court? Otherwise, gosh, too late for the name Donald Trump to legally go on our ballot. For each of the 50 states.

Fort Sumter.

There’s no real competition. Ron shot himself in the foot by running such a poor campaign. That’s why we have primaries.

Trump was the nominee as of Jan 7, 2021… as long has he chose to run.

This entire “primary” has been a joke… is anything the establishment’s attempts to pretend there is an honest chance any of their folks could win, has just highlighted even more why Trump should and will be the nominee.

Absolute clown show they have all collectively put on highlights exactly how pathetically inept and out of touch the GOP establishment is. Anyone watching this primary and concluded any of these clowns are not owned and beholden by the same Cheney money men who have been selling this nation out for
decades has a damaged or non working frontal lobe.

If DeSantis ends up dropping out and endorsing Haley, as the article suggests, then it goes to show that his (and his donor’s) motive was to stop Trump, all along, not be a better version of Trump, or “Trump without the baggage”.

Ron’s entire campaign from day one was an astroturf… he had no legitimate support among the base of any consequence. They tried to portray one on social media and other ways hoping the public would jump onboard…. It didn’t and never was going to happen.

I stated it before on Free Republic, Ron should have waited until 2028.

DS blew it. He could have possibly had a VP slot. Instead, he bit the hand that put him in the governor's office. His 2028 chance is now clouded, too.
He got power greedy.

You could see the astro-turf starting up as soon as Trump left office. Establishment pundits started trotting out the “could DeSantis be the rising star of the GOP?”, and “Trump without the baggage” talking points. While the rest of us were still talking about the stolen election, they were happy to “move on” and “look to the future”. They immediately started speculating about what the GOP would look like “now that the Trump era was over”. And of course, their answer was President DeSantis.

A lot can happen between Then and now. No slam dunks coming. Both Biden and Trump could have “health Problems” and not run.
The election could be cancelled due to a national emergency?
War could come on a world wide basis. “Don’t change horses midstream” In a patriotic rally Biden could be re-elected.
New Pandemic could hit with more e-mail votes and Chinese xerox votes so Biden (or Harris) wins a landslide.
What do we know what will happen. A) Its going to be a bad winter. Lots of rain and flooding. B) Jimmy Carter will die with a huge funeral in Atlanta where Trump will be trashed and not invited. Clinton with give a talk. C) a new scandal will happen linking Trump to some awful crime that the Democrats, AI and Hollywood can manufacture. D) the war in Ukraine will be over, Mr. Z out, peace table will settle things. E) Israel will pull back and Bibi will be out of power—Two state solution will redraw map of Israel. F) Democrats will falter as 3rd parties help shatter things.
