Well, if the destination is bankrupcty or hyper inflation - they we are on the right track moving in the right direction. If the goal is a stable economy they're we're on the wrong track going the wrong way. And cyber Monday? Folks fear prices and interest rates will be worse in three weeks than now. Three weeks. It should never feel that tight.

How in the name of God do you get to be an econ adviser to a president being a Music major???

Why can’t they ask the right questions. Gov now spends 25% of gdp up from 20% pre COVID is this healthy or sustainable? Deficit is 8% of gdp when is it going to decrease?
